Acoustic Ceiling Removal How-To Manual at BIGrehab.com

I put together a how-to manual on how to remove acoustic ceilings and posted it at a site named BIGrehab.com. It was written based upon my experience working in the business while living in Sacramento, California.

The way crews were ran at the company I worked for we all shared in the responsibility for getting the jobs done so I am pretty well experience in each phase of the process. It was pretty hard work with long hours and lots of guys couldn’t cut it.

We did have our method do to a science and could do most homes from start to finish in a single day. Two guys could pull off a 1200-1400 square foot home which included; masking the home, removing fixtures where needed, removing the popcorn texture, patching sheetrock where damaged, recoating drywall joints and nail spots, applying a knockdown texture and in many cases, painting the ceiling.

Of course doing it in this kind of time frame requires guys that are willing to work their butts off, professional taping tools and a fast texture machine. The machines we used were trailer mounted and could blast through a house almost as fast as the operator could move.

I suggest you check it out if you are considering removing the acoustic ceilings in your home. You can go directly to the Acoustic Ceiling Removal How-To Manual here.
