I checked Home Depots site earlier this evening and my laptop didn't ship as I was promised it would. I called the customer service number listed on my order confirmation and was told not to worry than I would get it eventually. Excuse me?? I nearly fell out of my chair. I just couldn't believe a customer service representative would actually say something like that. He did tell me that if it didn't arrive by Wednesday I could have a gift card for the shipping.

As you can see there has been a bit of improvement to the site over the last few days. I managed time to get a Google Adsense account setup and installed the modules for both displaying the ads and injecting them into appropriate areas of the site. I'm going to try to get the Adsense search function integrated this evening. I know we sometimes get overwhelmed with the amount of ads on the Internet but it is important to this site as it will be the main source of funding. The great thing about Google is they only deliver directed advertising that is relevant to the page you are reading.

Today was Sunday but I did manage to find some time to work on the site. You probably can't see much progress on the front end because most of the work was getting the back end configured. Although I have a general idea of what I want I smoothing out the details as I go along. The only real limitation I have found - so far - with the CMS selected is the lack of spell checking in the forum and blog modules. I will have to do some further research and see if there is something available or dig into implementing that function.
