It looks like the Food Network will be bringing back the Great Food Truck Race for a second season this fall. No word on if Tyler Florance will be the host again this year but judging from his recent popularity on television they would be remiss to not invite him. Rumor has it that the food truck vendors are going to be selected from Miami's best. Miami has a rich food culture that has always included street food so this should be a good competition. I only home that we so some more main stream offerings and possibly a playing field that is a little more evenly matched.

Seven teams driving around the country, all expenses paid, fighting for a chance to win $50k. I'm sure most street vendors out there would love the chance to compete.
