I received the Acer 9810 laptop on Monday but have been too busy to set it up. I’m actually writing this on my old Dell. I did get it out of the box and created restore DVD’s last night. This sucker is HUGE. This is far more than a laptop, it is a computer system. With the dell I just grab it and move from one spot to the other without thinking but the Acer is so big and heavy I don’t think I will be doing that much anymore.

I will try to get it configured for my needs and run some performance checks on it later today and tomorrow. It might be a day or two before I get my results posted but stay tuned…
